| Obverse description | Central field displays the elaborately quartered arms of Brunswick-Lüneburg, incorporating lions rampant, a horse, an eagle, and other dynastic quarterings, surmounted by an electoral bonnet adorned with a cross finial. The shield is set within the field without a cartouche, its heraldic detail rendered in high relief. A circular Latin legend surrounds the arms, reading the ruler's full titles, with the date 1715 appearing at the top of the legend. The coin's milled border frames the entire composition. |
