| Obverse description | Draped bust of George I Louis facing right, wearing a long flowing wig with elaborate curls cascading over the shoulders, rendered in high relief with fine baroque detail. The effigy is armored at the shoulder with a mantle partially visible beneath the bust. The engraver's initials H·C·B· appear below the bust truncation. The circumferential Latin legend reads GEORGIVS D G MAG BRIT FR ET HIB REX F D, separated by pellets, within a beaded inner border and a milled outer rim. |
