Reverse description A ornate quartered heraldic cross divides the field into four compartments, each bearing a distinct armorial shield: the Hohenzollern scepter, the Silesian eagle, and other dynastic devices associated with the Margraviate of Brandenburg and the Duchy of Jägerndorf. A small eagle is displayed at the center of the cross. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding Latin legend SI.DEVS.PRONOB:QVIS.CONTRA.NOS, taken from Romans 8:31, proclaims 'If God is for us, who can be against us,' with the date 1587 incorporated into the legend at the base.
