1 Thaler - George Frederick I

Jägerndorf passed to the Hohenzollern branch of Brandenburg in 1523 when Margrave George of Brandenburg-Ansbach acquired the Silesian duchy, and it remained in that family's hands through George Frederick I, who ruled as the last Hohenzollern duke before the territory was seized by the Habsburgs in 1621 following his support for the ill-fated Bohemian revolt. This thaler predates that confiscation by nearly three decades, struck when the duchy still operated with genuine autonomy under Imperial suzerainty.
