Obverse lettering D:G·GEORGIVS·LVDOVICVS·ET·CHRISTIANVS·FRAT:
Reverse description Ornate quartered heraldic shield displaying the combined arms of the Duchy of Liegnitz-Brieg and Wohlau, supported by elaborate strapwork and foliate mantling. Three crested helmets surmount the shield, each bearing distinct heraldic devices including an eagle and a checkerboard crest characteristic of the Piast ducal line of Silesia. The composition is rendered in the rich Baroque style typical of mid-seventeenth-century German coinage. The Latin circumferential legend identifying the dukes as rulers of Silesia, Liegnitz, Brieg, and Wohlau concludes with the date 1657.
