Reverse description Central device features the crowned shield of Nassau arms, displaying the distinctive Nassau lion, flanked by a laurel branch to the left and a palm branch to the right, tied at the base. The date 1812 is divided by the mintmaster's initials below the shield in the exergue area. The circumferential legend ZEHN EINE - FEINE MARK indicates the fineness standard of ten coins to the fine mark. The overall composition is formal and heraldic, consistent with German pattern coinage of the Confederation of the Rhine period.
