Reverse description Central motif consists of the elaborately quartered Prussian royal coat of arms, displaying the imperial eagle, sceptre and orb, and the arms of Brandenburg, Hohenzollern, Cleves, and other dynastic territories, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is flanked on either side by decorative laurel and olive branches. The date is placed in the exergue below the shield, separated by a small ornamental star. The circular legend EIN THALER XIV EINE F. M. runs around the upper periphery, indicating the denomination and fineness standard, all enclosed within a dentilated border.
