| Obverse description | Unadorned right-facing bust of Friedrich Wilhelm III, King of Prussia, rendered in high relief with naturalistic portraiture characteristic of early 19th-century German coinage. The effigy displays the king's distinctive sideburns and civilian dress, truncated at the shoulder. The circular legend reads FRIEDR. WILHELM III KOENIG V. PREUSSEN around the upper periphery, with the mint mark A appearing at the base of the bust below the truncation. The entire design is contained within a finely executed beaded border. |
