| Description du revers | The elaborately quartered Royal Prussian coat of arms, featuring multiple heraldic charges including eagles, griffins, lions, and sceptres across the numerous quarterings, occupies the central field and is surmounted by a large royal crown. The shield is flanked on either side by symmetrical sprays of laurel and oak branches tied at the base, with decorative chain-link ornaments and an eagle displayed at the lower centre. The circular legend EIN THALER · XIV · EINE · F · M · reads around the upper periphery, denoting the denomination and fineness standard (fourteen to the fine mark). The date 1830 is inscribed in large numerals across the lower field, with a Hohenzollern eagle and the Order of the Black Eagle star serving as punctuation within the wreath composition. The whole design is enclosed by a beaded border. |
