Reverse description Centrally placed large quartered coat of arms of the Hohenzollern territories, surmounted by an elaborate Electoral crown in high relief. The shield displays the multiple quarterings representing Brandenburg, Prussia, and associated dominions, including the Hohenzollern eagle, Cleves, Mark, Ravensberg, and other hereditary lands. The mint-master initials 'A' and 'B' flank the date 1664, positioned to the left and right within the shield field. A beaded inner border encloses the arms, with the surrounding Latin legend continuing the titulature of Frederick William as Supreme Lord, Prince of Magdeburg, Jülich, Cleves, Berg, Stettin, Pomerania, the Cassubians, and Vandals, and Duke of Silesia-Crossen. The reverse displays the fine die-cutting and layered heraldic detail typical of Brandenburg thaler coinage of this period.
