| Obverse description | Draped and armored bust of Margrave Frederick III facing right, wearing a flowing periwig and a star-decorated order at the breast, rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner. The effigy is finely detailed, with elaborate lace cravat, pauldron, and mantle visible at the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading from the lower left and separated by pellet stops. The milled border frames the entire composition. |

| Reverse description | A sixteen-line memorial inscription in Latin and German occupies the entire reverse field, recording the principal dates of Margrave Frederick III's life and reign in a typographic arrangement. The text commemorates his birth at Weverlingen on 9 May 1711, his first marriage prepared in Berlin on 20 November 1730, his accession to rule in Bayreuth on 26 February 1763, and notes his twenty-eighth year of reign and fifty-second year of age. Below the inscription, the German standard legend X.EINE FEINE MARK denotes the coin's fineness, followed by the mint official's initials C.L.R. |
