| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Margrave Frederick III of Brandenburg-Bayreuth, depicted with flowing curled hair and elaborate robes with a starburst decoration at the chest, the mintmaster's initial 'H' appearing at the lower left of the field. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner, conveying regal authority.
