| Reverse description | A large, elaborately quartered heraldic shield bearing the multiple arms of the Hohenzollern dynasty's territorial possessions, surmounted by an ornate Electoral crown topped with a cross. The date 1692 is divided to either side of the shield, and the mint-master's initials LCS appear within a decorative cartouche at the base of the design, flanked by palm or laurel branches. The Latin motto SUUM CUIQUE — meaning 'To each his own' — the Order of the Black Eagle's device, is inscribed to the left and right of the crown in the upper field. |
