| Obverse description | Draped bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) facing right, depicted in elaborate royal robes with lace cravat and the star of the Order of the Black Eagle prominent on his chest. The king's hair is rendered in naturalistic curls in the Baroque manner. The Latin legend FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX (Frederick, King of the Prussians) arcs around the upper periphery, with the word REX positioned to the right. The milled edge is clearly visible at the rim. |

| Reverse description | Large, elaborately quartered and subdivided crowned royal coat of arms of Prussia, displaying multiple heraldic fields incorporating the arms of the various Hohenzollern territories, including the Prussian eagle, the Sceptre of Brandenburg, and numerous other dynastic quarterings. Two crossed sceptres overlay the central shield in saltire. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by decorative foliate scrollwork. The legend NACH DEM FVS DER ALBERTVS THALER with the date 1767 arcs around the periphery, indicating the coin's standard based on the Albertus Thaler. |
