| Reverse description | Central cruciform royal cypher composed of four interlaced crowned F (Friedrich) monograms, each arm terminating in an ornamental crowned letter arrangement, with a Prussian black eagle displayed at the centre of the cross. Four crowned heraldic shields occupy the diagonal fields between the arms of the cypher. The circular legend SUUM CUIQUE (To each his own), the motto of the Order of the Black Eagle, runs along the upper periphery. A decorative foliate cartouche ornament appears at the base of the field beneath the cypher. |
