| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central quartered shield of arms surmounted by an elaborate princely crown, flanked by a crossed sword and episcopal crozier issuing from behind the escutcheon. The quartered arms display the heraldic devices of the Bishopric of Münster and the personal arms of the Plettenberg family, supported by ornate Baroque acanthus mantling. The mint master's initials H·L·O appear in the lower field, with the date 1697 divided at the top of the crown. The encircling Latin legend referencing his secular and ecclesiastical titles runs along the rope-bordered rim. |
