Obverse description Draped bust of Prince Frederick Charles of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt facing right, wearing a powdered wig tied with a ribbon and a lace jabot at the collar. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the late Baroque manner, with fine detail in the periwig curls and costume. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy close to the toothed border, reading D.G.FRID.CAROLUS.PR.SCHWARZB.RUD.DOMSCHWARZB.SENIOR, with a star stop at the conclusion.
