| Reverse description | The Nassau ducal arms occupy the central field: a vertically divided shield bearing the Nassau lion rampant to the sinister on a horizontally lined field, surmounted by an elaborate ducal crown. The shield is flanked by a decorative wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base. The circumferential legend, reading ZEHN EINE FEINE MARK, denotes the fineness standard of ten coins to one fine mark, while the date and mint mark appear in the lower exergual area separated by a dot on each side. |
