| Obverse description | Right-facing armored and draped bust of Frederick Augustus III, Elector of Saxony, with powdered wig tied at the back with a ribbon, rendered in high relief in the neoclassical style. The effigy is finely detailed, showing a cuirass with decorative borders and a lace cravat at the throat. The encircling Latin legend reads FRID. AVGVST. D. G. DVX SAX. ELECTOR, separated by dots, running along the inner edge of the milled border. |

| Reverse description | The crowned Saxon electoral arms — the quartered shield bearing the crossed swords of the Meissen margravate and the barry field of Saxony — displayed within a wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base with a ribbon. The Electoral bonnet (Kurhut) surmounts the shield. Below the wreath, the mintmaster's initials I.E.C. appear on a scroll, with the denomination X EINE MARCK F. and the date 1793 in the exergue. The encircling German legend DER SEEGEN DES BERGBAUES (The Blessing of Mining) runs around the periphery. |
