Reverse description Central field depicts a detailed bird's-eye view of an outdoor shooting range, showing a long shooting gallery with targets and a hanging pendulum target in the foreground, and a row of tented pavilions or booths along the base, all rendered in fine relief. The scene commemorates a shooting festival held on 8 February 1714. The circular legend surrounding the central image reads '* QUI VISE LE MIEUX CE 8me DE FEBR: 1714' (To he who aims best, this 8th of February 1714), inscribed in French in Roman capital letters. The square klippe flan is set on point, with decorative fleur-de-lis and crescent ornaments at the four corners. The border repeats the dot-and-geometric framing seen on the obverse.
