Obverse description Eleven-line funerary inscription in Latin filling the entire field, commemorating Christiane Eberhardine, Queen of Poland and Electress of Saxony, recording her birth at Bayreuth on 19 December 1671 and her death at Pretzsch on 5 September 1727. The text is rendered in an elegant serif typeface characteristic of early eighteenth-century Saxon medallic work. The engraver's initials I.G.S. appear in the lower field below the final line of text. The coin features a milled border encircling the inscription.
