| 正面描述 | Central field displays a large ornate quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Bishopric of Münster combined with those of the Diocese of Osnabrück and the personal arms of Francis of Waldeck, flanked by elaborate Renaissance scrollwork and decorative mantling. The shield prominently features crossed keys, a wheel, and other ecclesiastical charges arranged in the quarters. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition, reading along the outer rim and separated from the central device by a beaded inner border. Star-shaped ornaments punctuate the legend at intervals. The overall style is characteristic of early sixteenth-century German ecclesiastical coinage, executed in high relief by the hammered technique. |

| 背面描述 | Two standing full-length figures of Saints Peter and Paul occupy the central field, facing one another in a frontal composition typical of Westphalian ecclesiastical thalers of the period. Saint Peter, on the left, is depicted as an elderly bearded figure holding a large cross-staff and keys, attributes identifying him as the first Apostle; Saint Paul stands to the right, rendered as a younger figure holding his own emblems. Nimbi appear above each saint's head, and the figures are rendered in a bold, somewhat archaic late-Gothic style transitional to Renaissance influence. The date 1535 appears in the lower exergual area, divided by a six-pointed star ornament. The legend naming the two patron saints of Münster Cathedral is split between the left and right fields flanking the figures. |
