附加信息	The 1852 thaler was struck in the immediate aftermath of the Olmütz abdication, when the eighteen-year-old Francis Joseph had been emperor for less than four years. His government was still consolidating authority following the suppression of the 1848–49 revolutions, with Schwarzenberg's ministry running much of the actual administration. Austrian thalers of this period circulated widely across the German states, where the Münchner Münzvertrag of 1837 had standardized the thaler's weight and fineness across multiple confederate members. The .833 fineness is notably lower than the later Vereinsthaler standard of .900, adopted in 1857.
