Reverse description Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head surmounted by a single arch crown, the whole ensigned by a central imperial crown above. On the breast of the eagle appears a circular orb. The eagle's talons grip a sword and a sceptre below a decorative foliate spray at the base of the field. The surrounding legend, reading LEOPOLDVS. I. ROM. IMP. SEMPER AVGVSTVS, acknowledges Leopold I as Holy Roman Emperor, and runs continuously around the coin's periphery within a reeded rim.
