| Obverse description | Elaborate quartered coat of arms within an ornate baroque cartouche surmounted by a bishop's electoral crown, the shield incorporating multiple heraldic quarters representing the various territories and dignities of the see. Decorative foliate mantling flanks the arms on either side. The divided date appears at left and right of the shield, with the mintmaster's initials JW and the letters VMU positioned in the lower field. The circular Latin legend runs continuously around the periphery, naming the bishop and his titles. |
