Reverse description Five baroque heraldic shields arranged in a cruciform pattern around a central imperial double-headed eagle, surmounted by a large crown at the top. The surrounding shields represent the hereditary lands of the Habsburg dynasty: Hungary and Bohemia on the sides, and ancient Burgundy and Austria below, all rendered in high relief in the characteristic baroque style of the Vienna mint. The date appears at the end of the encircling Latin legend, which enumerates the emperor's titles as Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, and Count of Tyrol.
