| Popis rubu | Elaborate composite heraldic achievement displaying the quartered arms of Ferdinand II's dynastic territories: Hungary (1st quarter), Bohemia (2nd quarter), the combined arms of Castile and León (3rd quarter), and Austria impaled with Burgundy (4th quarter). The shield is surmounted by an imperial crown and encircled by the collar and pendant of the Order of the Golden Fleece. A small escutcheon of the County of Tyrol is placed at the fess point. The Latin legend, beginning at the 2 o'clock position, is contained within an inner circle and reads DVX BVRGVNDI // COMES TIROLIS, identifying Ferdinand as Duke of Burgundy and Count of Tyrol. |
