| Obverse description | Crowned and armored bust of Emperor Ferdinand II facing right, wearing an elaborate imperial crown and a ruffled lace collar over richly draped armor. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the characteristic early seventeenth-century Habsburg style, with detailed chasing of the breastplate, pauldrons, and decorative mantle.
