Obverse description Laureate and armored bust of Emperor Ferdinand II facing right, wearing an elaborate ruffled collar and imperial crown, with a richly detailed mantle visible at the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the bold, high-relief style characteristic of early 17th-century Habsburg coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, identifying the ruler by his titles as Holy Roman Emperor, King of Germany, Hungary, and Bohemia. The field shows the natural texture and flow typical of hammered silver production. The portrait projects authority and dynastic prestige befitting the newly crowned emperor.
