Obverse description Bust of Ferdinand I depicted in half-length armour facing right, beardless, with a sceptre held in his right hand. The effigy is rendered in a bold Renaissance style typical of early sixteenth-century Joachimsthal coinage. The legend, in Latin, runs within a double circle border, the outermost of which is beaded.
