Reverse description Central quartered coat of arms of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld, featuring the arms of Saxony (barry of ten or and sable with a green crancelin), Franconia, and other dynastic quarterings, flanked by two rampant lion supporters. The shield is surmounted by an electoral bonnet-style ducal crown. The date 1764 appears to the left of the shield, with the mint-master initials I.C.E. positioned at the base below the escutcheon. The circular legend, divided on either side of the crowned arms, reads X • EINE FEINE MARCK, denoting the coin's weight standard of ten pieces to the fine mark.
