| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a purely typographic design with no central effigy, presenting a five-line commemorative inscription in the field recording the marriage of Crown Prince Georg of Hannover to Princess Marie of Saxe-Altenburg on 18 February 1843. The text reads GEORG / KRONPRINZ / VON HANNOVER / MARIE / HERZOGINN / V. S. ALTENB., with the date legend VERM. 18 FEBR. 1843 arranged along the lower periphery. The inscription is surrounded by a border of evenly spaced eight-pointed mullets, itself encircled by a continuous beaded inner border and a toothed outer rim. |
