| Obverse description | Draped bust of Clemens Wenceslaus of Saxony, Archbishop-Elector of Trier, facing left, wearing ecclesiastical vestments including a pectoral cross; his hair is elaborately curled in the late Baroque fashion. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail to the drapery and lace collar. A continuous Latin legend encircles the effigy, filling the entire periphery of the field. |

| Reverse description | Elaborately quartered electoral coat of arms of Clemens Wenceslaus, surmounted by an elector's princely crown, with a crossed sword and crozier placed saltire-wise behind the shield, and an eight-pointed Order cross pendant below. The complex arms incorporate the heraldic devices of Trier, Saxony, Poland, and Lithuania. A partial legend appears in the upper field, and the fineness statement and date are inscribed in the lower exergual area. |
