The arms display horizontal lines and a crescent in the lower quarters. Mint initials G·B appear below the shield. The circular Latin legend reads CHRISTOPHORVS D G ELECT ET CONF ABAS CORBEI S R I P, identifying Christopher of Bellinghausen as elected and confirmed Abbot of Corvey and Prince of the Holy Roman Empire. The coin exhibits finely detailed high-relief engraving characteristic of late 17th-century German ecclesiastical coinage. |
