Reverse description Elaborately rendered quartered coat of arms of the House of Anhalt-Bernburg, surmounted by three ornate crested helmets with mantling extending across the field in flowing Baroque scrollwork. The central shield displays the quartered arms of Anhalt and Ascania, with additional smaller inescutcheons. The motto legend ASTRA PETIT VIRTVS (Virtue seeks the stars) appears in the upper portion of the field, accompanied by a small star to the left. The entire composition fills the flan within a beaded border.
