| Reverse description | Elaborate crowned coat of arms of Brandenburg-Ansbach, comprising a quartered shield supported on either side by spread-winged eagles, the whole surmounted by a large royal crown. The escutcheon displays the Hohenzollern quarterings including the Brandenburg eagle and the checky pattern of Ansbach. The date 17-76 appears divided in the lower field flanking the mintmaster's initial S, with the letters W and K below. The legend ZEHEN EINE FEINE MARK curves along the upper periphery, indicating the fineness standard of ten marks to one fine mark. The composition is framed by a beaded border. |
