| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing draped bust of Charles William Frederick, Margrave of Brandenburg-Ansbach, wearing armor with decorative gorget and elaborate lace cravat, his hair styled in a long curled periwig fashionable of the mid-18th century. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine baroque detail. The surrounding Latin legend reads CARL. WILH. FRIED. D. G. M. B. D. PR. & S. B. N. C. S. & W. D., abbreviated titles identifying him as Margrave of Brandenburg by the grace of God and lord of the associated territories. The milled edge is clearly visible at the coin's periphery. |
