| Obverse description | Draped bust of Elector Charles Theodore facing right, his hair dressed in elaborate period curls and tied with a ribbon, without a laurel or diadem. The truncation of the bust is plain. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, separated from the effigy by a fine inner border of denticles. |

| Reverse description | The quartered coat of arms of the Palatinate-Bavaria, comprising the lion of the Palatinate and the diagonal lozenges of Bavaria with a central escutcheon bearing the Jülich lion and the Cleves shield, all surmounted by an electoral crown. The shield is flanked by ornate baroque laurel and palm branches tied with ribbons at the base. The date 1768 is divided to either side of the crown at the top of the field. The denomination legend 10 EINER FEIN MARC curves along the lower portion of the wreath, indicating the coin's fineness standard. |
