正面描述	Draped bust of Elector Charles Theodore (Karl Theodor) facing right, with long flowing wig in the baroque style. The effigy shows the ruler in armour with an elaborately decorated gorget and mantle. The encircling Latin legend reads CAR • THEODOR D : G • C • P • R • S • R • I • W S, abbreviated from Carolus Theodorus Dei Gratia Comes Palatinus Rheni Sacri Romani Imperii Vicarius et Summus. The coin field is broad and smooth, with the bust occupying the greater part of the obverse.

背面描述	Elaborately rendered threefold baroque coat of arms, centrally divided, displaying the arms of the Palatinate-Wittelsbach line including the Bavarian lozengy field and the Palatine lion, set within an ornate scrolling baroque cartouche. The shield is surmounted by a large electoral crown with cross finial. The date 1744 appears within the encircling legend to the left, with the Latin inscription ARCHITHESAVR • ET • ELECTOR • reading around the periphery, denoting Charles Theodore's offices of Imperial Arch-Treasurer and Prince-Elector. The mintmaster's initials WS appear on the obverse legend.
