| Obverse description | Draped bust of Bishop Charles III Joseph of Lorraine facing right, wearing an elaborate long curled allonge wig and richly ornamented ecclesiastical vestments with lace collar visible at the truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the Baroque style, filling much of the central field. The surrounding circular legend reads DEI GRATIA CAROLUS EPISCOPUS OLOMUCENSIS, separated from the portrait by a raised inner border, with a milled outer rim. |
