Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Karl (Charles I), Prince of Isenburg, facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair and naturalistic portraiture in the neoclassical style. The truncation of the neck is plain and unadorned. The circumferential legend reads CARL FÜRST ZU ISENBURG, disposed around the effigy between an inner beaded border and an outer beaded rim.
