The shield incorporates the arms of Austria (horizontal bars), Burgundy (diagonal bars), the Teutonic Order cross, the Imperial eagle, and other dynastic quarterings, all rendered in fine relief. The surrounding legend reads ·ET·CARN·MAG·PRVSS·AD·COMHA·ET·TIROL·, identifying the Grand Mastership of Prussia and additional territorial titles, in Roman capitals within a beaded border.
