Reverse description The crowned arms of Baden — a diagonal band (bend) across a dotted field within an ornate cartouche — are displayed centrally, flanked by symmetrical sprays of laurel and palm branches tied at the base. A large princely crown surmounts the shield. Below the arms, flanking a small Maltese cross mintmark, the date 17-63 is split to either side, with the legend X · EINE FINE MARCK indicating the coin's fineness and weight standard. The arc legend AD NORMAM CONVENTIONIS curves along the upper periphery, referencing the Convention Thaler monetary standard of 1753.
