| Obverse description | Draped bust of Karl (Charles Ferdinand Vasa), Bishop of Breslau, facing right, wearing ecclesiastical robes, within a beaded inner circle. The circumscribed Latin legend reads CAR FERDINAND D G PR POL ET SVEC, identifying him as a prince of Poland and Sweden by the grace of God. The flan is struck on an octagonal klippe planchet with a broad flat rim, giving the piece its distinctive non-circular format characteristic of emergency or presentation issues of the period. |

| Reverse description | A large episcopal galero (bishop's hat) with pendant tassels displayed prominently above an elaborate baroque cartouche enclosing the quartered arms of the Bishopric of Breslau, adorned with scrolling foliate ornaments. The shields within the cartouche bear the heraldic charges of the see, rendered in finely engraved detail consistent with early seventeenth-century German die-cutting. The surrounding Latin legend EPISCOPVS VVRATISLAVIENSIS identifies the issuing authority, with the date 1632 appearing in the lower field of the design. The reverse field is contained within a beaded border on the octagonal klippe flan. |
