Reverse description Within a beaded inner circle, ten lines of Latin text fill the entire field, commemorating the centenary of the divinely restored Protestant faith and issued under the auspices of the Senate and People of Strasbourg (S.P.Q. ARGENTOR.), dated to the Calends of November 1617. The inscription is neatly arranged in horizontal lines with centered layout and period separators between words, consistent with the formal commemorative style of the period. The surrounding field between the beaded circle and the klippe edge is plain and unadorned, emphasizing the textual content of the reverse.
