| Reverse description | Facing half-length effigies of Dukes Frederick V and George, both clad in armour with lace ruff collars, depicted confronted within a beaded inner circle. Between them, a sceptre is held upright, symbolising their joint rule, while a small orb surmounts the inner border at the top of the field. The date 1636 appears in the lower exergue, accompanied by the mintmaster's initials H S beneath. The surrounding Latin legend names both rulers as Dukes of Brunswick and Lüneburg. |
