Obverse description Armored and mantled half-length effigy of Duke August the Younger facing left, depicted in three-quarter military dress with a commander's baton held in his right hand and a plumed helmet tucked under his left arm. The bust is rendered in high relief with finely detailed armor and a richly draped mantle. The peripheral legend in Latin runs along the inner border of the coin.
