The word TANDEM appears to the left and DEM to the right of the bell, with the inscription WAIDER on the bell's body and M·VII·B·13 below. The circumscription NO·1643·ALLES·MIT·BEDACHT surrounds the central design within the beaded border, referring to the duke's personal motto. The overall composition is characteristic of the 'Glockentaler' (bell thaler) type issued by Duke August. |
