| Opis rewersu | A wild man (Wilder Mann), the traditional heraldic supporter of Brunswick, stands facing in the field, depicted as a bearded figure covered in foliage, holding a tall uprooted pine tree in his left hand and resting his right hand on his hip. He stands on a grassy ground line, rendered in the characteristic bold style of Zellerfeld thaler coinage. The date ANNO 1651 appears in the left field. The surrounding legend, divided by the figure, reads ALLE MIT BEDACHT and continues around the coin, separated from the inner design by a beaded circle. |
