| Obverse description | Central quartered shield of arms displaying the heraldic devices of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, surmounted by five ornate crested helms with mantling, each bearing distinct crest charges including a horse, lions, and foliage. Elaborate baroque scrollwork flanks the shield on either side. The circumferential Latin legend reads around the full periphery of the coin, with fine reeding visible at the rim. |
